CHECHEN REBELS DECLARE SOLIDARITY WITH YUSHCHENKO
The parliament of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria sent a telegram of
support to the headquarters of Ukrainian presidential candidate Viktor
Yushchenko on November 23. "We support your struggle against dictatorship
and Russian domination," Akhyad Idigov, head of the separatist
parliament's foreign relations committee, said in the telegram, which was
posted on the Kavkaz Center website. "Let the Kremlin break its teeth in
Ukraine as well. It will have its neck broken in Chechnya, time is working
for us! The Chechen people will never be under the heel of the empire
again! The Chechen people know better than anyone Moscow's vile methods.
We are your friends! We wish you steadfastness and unity in the struggle
against this universal evil. We believe in the fairness of your struggle.
We wish you a victory!"
