So what's Colin going to do? Give assurances that his brat patrician
scion boss just needs to get his juvenile cowboy antics out of his system
with a little boy scout adventure in Baghdad (to the tune of $9 billion
a month) and that those w/ material interests in Iraqi-Russian business
relations should just indulge him and wait it out on the sidelines?
Go for it Powell; show us how you grovel for Shrub, Rove, Perle & Co. ....

Secretary of State Colin L. Powell to Address the U.S.- Russia Business
Council s 10th Annual Members & Directors Meeting
Secretary of State Colin L. Powell will deliver the keynote address at
the U.S.-Russia Business Council s 10th Annual Members and Directors
Meeting on Thursday, October 3, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in The Ballroom
(Lower Level), Willard Inter-Continental Hotel, 1401 Pennsylvania
Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. Secretary Powell will not respond to
questions from the press.
The theme for this year s meeting is Commercial Priorities: Expanding
the U.S.- Russia Partnership, featuring such topics as Russia s
accession to the WTO and prospects for U.S.-Russian energy
cooperation.
The Secretary s remarks will be open for press coverage.
Pre-set time for cameras: 8:30 a.m.
Final access time for all press: 10:00
a.m.
Media representatives may cover this event upon presentation of either
(1) a US Government-issued identification card (Department of State,
White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center),
(2) a photo ID issued by the employing media organization, or (3) a
letter on official letterhead from their news organization verifying
their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo ID
(drivers license or passport).
