at Ten" Project.

- What is "Ukraine at
Ten"?
"Ukraine at Ten" is an on-line publication
documenting the first ten years of the study of
independent Ukraine. It is a continually growing
collection of observations and reminiscences by scholars
and professionals in Ukrainian studies, about their
experiences in Ukrainian studies, and in Ukraine, over
the last ten years.
- Why "Ukraine at Ten"?
"Ukraine at Ten" will provide scholars, the
press, and members of the general public with a readable
yet serious and multifaceted window into how Ukraine has
changed throughout its decade of independence, and how
Ukrainian studies has responded to those changes. Many
years from now, it will be an invaluable record--a "time
capsule"--of both Ukraine's first ten years as an
independent country, and of the scholarly community that
helped the public to understand Ukraine.
- Who can contribute to
"Ukraine at Ten"?
Anyone involved in Ukrainian studies is encouraged to
share their professional and personal experiences for the
"Ukraine at Ten" project. Your experiences,
observations and reflections on Ukraine and Ukrainian
studies are valuable!
- How is "Ukraine at Ten"
accessible?
"Ukraine at Ten" is available to the general
public on the web, as part of the AAUS website. As the
volume of contributions grows, "Ukraine at Ten" will be
supplemented with database-style search capabilities (for
instance for author, subject matter, places mentioned,
and key-words). To faciliatate the global accessibility
of "Ukraine at Ten," the language of the project is
