Dear Colleagues,
Another multi-language dictionary ABBY LINGVO is also available on-line - http://www.lingvo.ua/
I am using it for years, and it works well - it is simple and equipped with thesaurus, though its English-Ukrainian section is less developed than the Russian version.
Best regards,

I would like to point out the availability of several free online
language-translation features that may be as useful to you as they have
been to me.
The first is Google's basic online translator, which is available as a
web page at
http://translate.google.com/#uk|en
Paste in a word, or a block of text, select the source and output
languages, push a button and see an instant translation.
The other features require installation into your web browser of the
Google toolbar, which is available and documented at
http://www.google.com/intl/en/toolbar/ff/index.html
If you then enable one or both of the translation features in the
toolbar's options menu, you will be able to:
(i) have your browser automatically recognize a foreign language in a
web page and offer to let you instantly translate the page at the push
of a button;
(ii) hover your mouse cursor over an English word on a web page and
instantly see a little pop-up with all the possible dictionary
translations of that word in the language of your choice.
I have been using these features successfully in the Firefox browser
running on Windows XP.
