There will be two classes at
the Penn State University Park campus in the spring 2010 semester. Elementary
Ukrainian II will be offered on a M-Tu-Th-F schedule at 11:15AM - 12:05PM and
taught by Larysa Bobrova, a Ph.D. student in Applied Linguistics from Horlivka,
Ukraine. Ukrainian Culture and Civilization will be offered as a WEB course and
taught by Lilya Valihun, an MA student in Comparative Literature from Lviv,
Ukraine. Enrollment is limited to 40 students in the WEB class and currently 39
places are taken, though that can fluctuate since students are constantly
adding and dropping classes until the beginning of the semester.
