European History and Culture and by the Ukrainian Studies Program at 
Columbia University.

Yurii Lawrynenko was a well-know Ukrainian Literary scholar and critic, 
historian, and writer.  His personal papers are now open to researchers at 
the Bekhmeteff Archives.
