Absent from the presentation of HOLODOMOR 1932-33 (ed. R. Pyrih; Kyiv
2007) on August 21 in Kyiv were representatives from the Yanukovych
government. The book was also ignored by all official TV, radio, and
newspapers. Though the government promised funding, the book was
published on credit by the Mohyla Academy Press. This 1125 page volume
contains 681 documents. The majority are unpublished and illustrate it
was Stalin's intention to kill Ukrainians through death by starvation.
