I was present at the High Mass celebrated in November 2003 at the Notre-Dame
Cathedral of Paris, as part of the commemoration the 70th anniversary of the
Holodomor. Cardinal Lustiger was present at the Mass and delivered a moving
sermon on the Ukrainian famine. He also made references to the Holocaust of
the Jewish people, from which he originated. I think it would be a fitting
tribute to the late Cardinal and an valuable testimonial to the
international importance of the Holodomor commemorations to make the text
available to the general public. I don't know if it had ever been published
before, but perhaps someone in the Ukrainian community of Paris that reads
this posting could obtain the document and send it to this list.
