Dear Mr. Boitynsky,
Please tell me why the BRITISH COUNCIL sponsors Russian language
films in Ukraine, thus helping to keep Ukraine Russified and in the
Russian language communications sphere? Why does it not sponsor films
in ENGLISH and UKRAINIAN to help Ukraine enter the ENGLISH LANGUAGE
COMMUNICATIONS SPHERE? I would appreciate an answer as I am
researching language issues.
