(1) Is there a forum in which "academics abroad...help
national-democrats in Ukraine"? More broadly, is there a forum (weblog,
website, discussion group) in which Western (or at least diaspora)
scholars and other intellectuals communicate systematically with their
counterparts in Ukraine?
(2) It would be odd if the AAUS did NOT have a website of its own, as
Mr. Rubchak suggests.

1. I think MAIDAN does a fine job and there is no need to duplicate
its efforts and disperse scant resources.

2. Given that the IANUKOVYCH bandits are all back in office we should
not be surprised about old soviet ideas reappearing on government
sites. At most as academics abroad we can only help national-democrats
in Ukraine publically expose as much of the official calumny as
possible..

3. Any serious work on this matter would involve research at least
into links between the Kremlin the SBU, links between the REGIONS and
American Right Republicans, and REGIONS/COMMUNIST anti-Ukrainian
black-ops -- like the recent Lutsenko operation. This in turn needs
time money and people.
