As a former Vice-President of SUSTA (1955-1957), I am delighted that you
are attempting a real revival of the Federation of Ukrainian Student
Organizations of America (SUSTA). I would be happy to participate in
your Conference but I have two major conferences in April and am unable to
commit myself at this time. May i suggest that you contact two of
Rutgers' retired professors, Taras Hunczak and Volodymyr Petryshyn who
were some of SUSTA's most active early members. As you may know, the
beginning of SUSTA are detailed in "Ukrains'ke Studentstvo v Amerytsi:
Propam'iatna Knyha SUSTA z nahody desiatylitn'oi diial'nosty" (Baltimore,
New York, l963). The volume was published with an introduction by Prof. Osyp
Zinkevych who was responsible for its publication.
