The Ukrainian Institute of America
is pleased to announce a
Literary Cafe
featuring readings by
Vasyl Makhno, Yuriy Tarnawsky, and Alexander Motyl
on
Friday, March 16th, 7:00-9:00pm.

Vasyl Makhno, a poet and playwright, will read in Ukrainian from "Coney
Island", a tragicomic play about Ukrainian emigrants in Brooklyn.

Yuriy Tarnawsky, a writer, playwright, and poet, will read in Ukrainian
and English from his collections of poetry and prose.

Alexander Motyl, a professor, painter, and writer, will read in English
from his novels, "Whiskey Priest" and "Who Shot Andrei Warhol".

Admission: $10 general; $5 students.

Beverages and appetizers will be served during the Cafe.

The authors' books will be on sale.

Parking is available at the Metropolitan Museum of Art garage.
