I think that it is fine. I have heard Briukhovetsky speak at two
different occasions - at the AEI in November of 2004, and later that same
day, at an event sponsored by George Chopivsky.
My criticisms are a little different from Vadim's. Briukhovetsky has the
abilitiy to speak for hours on end w/o saying much (a talent which I would
find useful on certain occasions). I sat there and watched Roman
Kupchinskyj fall asleep while sharing the same dais with VB.
Nevertheless, as head of the UKMA, Briukhovetsky has an important official
position. It's important to record whatever substantive things he has to
say. Also, if there is opportunity for questions, to present them on
issues such as the one Vadim cites below.
