The Ukrainian Culture, Language and Literature Program at the University of
Alberta
in cooperation with
“Ukrainian Multimedia, Interactive Learning and Digital Publishing”
(UMM&IL&DP)

is pleased to announce immediate free access
to “Ukrainian Through Its Living Culture,”
an electronic workbook for advanced levels of Ukrainian at
ñollege and university levels. The author is Dr. Alla Nedashkivska.

This workbook is a supplement to a printed textbook, written by the author,
and contains activities structured around video segments that relate
topically to units in the textbook. Video segments incorporate various
aspects of Ukrainian socio-cultural information. Therefore, this electronic
workbook is aimed at furthering students’ knowledge of contemporary
Ukrainian culture and society and is designed to enhance students’
proficiency in all four language skills: reading, listening, speaking, and
writing.

The workbook may be used as a stand-alone program for individual study.

At the University of Alberta, this workbook is used in several courses:
“Ukrainian in Context I” and “Ukrainian in Context II” (UKR 303, UKR 304) as
well as “Ukrainian in the Media and Internet” (UKR 403).

Individuals may use this workbook free of charge simply by providing their
name and E-mail. You may login here:
