**This panel will be followed by a book signing by author Irene Zabytko 
in Room 1512.

12:30-2:00:  Buffet lunch in Room 1219 (12th floor)
(During lunch, guests are also invited to view an art exhibit by 
Ukraine-born Petr Belenok on view in the Harriman Institute on the 12th 
floor in conjunction with the Chornobyl Commemoration.)

2:00-3:30:  FILM PERSPECTIVE
Screening of the Oscar-winning documentary “The Chornobyl Heart,” 
followed by Q&A session with William Novick and Sherrie Douglas
(Moderated by Prof. Cathy Nepomnyashchy, Director (on sabbatical during 
the 2005-2006 academic year) of the Harriman Institute)

3:30-4:00:  ACADEMIC PERSPECTIVE
Closing remarks by Mykola Riabchuk, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Petro Jacyk 
Visiting Scholar at Columbia University
