NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, KYIV, UKRAINE
"The 'Othering' of Catholics, Protestants, and Jews in Ruthenian Orthodox
Polemical Narratives after the Council of Ferrara-Florence"
Dr. Zema received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of the History of
Ukraine (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) in 2004 with a
dissertation on the polemics of the Orthodox against Protestants and
Catholics in Kyiv in the 16th and 17th c. He is spending the academic
year 2005-6 at Harvard University as the Eugene and Daymel Shklar Fellow
in Ukrainian Studies.
