The AAUS should draft a a brief statement, in Ukrainian and English,
stating in no uncertain terms that:
1) it supports unconditionally the six academicians
2) it condemns unconditionally the anti-Semitism and xenophobia of the
MAUP people
3) it considers the court action against the six to be an affront to
itself and to all decent scholars
4) it demands that the MAUP drop the suit and retract its anti-semitic
statements immediately
5) it calls on the academic world to condemn and boycott the MAUP
transgressors
6) if necessary, it will initiate a suit against MAUP
The petition should then be circulated internationally and names collected
via email.
