It is with great sadness that we share with you the news of Professor Oleh
Fedyshyn's death on February 3rd, 2006. Oleh Fedyshyn was a pioneer in
Ukrainian Studies, the author of many publications on the Ukrainian
revolution, including " Germany's Drive to the East and the
Ukrainian Revolution, l917-l918" (Rutgers University Press, l971).
Oleh Fedyshyn held a Ph.D. from Columbia University and was Professor
of History and Political Science at Richmond College, CUNY, Staten Island,
New York. Our deepest condolences are extended to his loving family and
friends.
Funeral services for Professor Fedyshyn will be held this Tuesday and
Wednesday at Green Village Funeral Home, l99 Bleeker Street, New York,
N.Y. from 2-5, and 7-9PM. The Funeral will be at Bound Brook, N.J., on
Thursday, February 9th.
