aaus-list @ ukrainianstudies.org -- Re: [aaus-list] Accreditation for U.S. academics as observers on Dec. 26

Marta and Rob,
I just got through to UCCA and they have submitted (as far as they could see)
200 people's names, including mine. However, they cannot help with housing and
say that they have no staff to devote to helping observers on this side with
housing etc-- do you have any friends or do you know organizations that would
be willing to put up monitors or find housing for them?
I am trying to be realistic about this--the air travel alone is going to be
hugely expensive bkz it is holiday time, and I don't know if I can afford going
if I also have to stay in a hotel. Also, at present, I am not even sure I can
find a flight. Since yesterday, they seem to have disappeared.
