INVITATION TO THE FIRST PETRO JACYK SYMPOSIUM

The Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University will be holding
the first Petro Jacyk Symposium. "Diaspora and Homeland in the
Transnational Age: the Case of Ukraine" at Harvard University on March
20-21. The symposium will explore the relationship between the Ukrainian
diaspora and its homeland in today's context of frequent communication,
travel, personal and organizational ties across national boundaries. We
at HURI would very much like to extend an invitation to all the members of
the AAUS to come and participate in this inaugural symposium. Attendance
is without charge. We merely ask for advance registration.
