The ASN program has been finalized and the AAUS meeting has been set 
for Friday, April 12 during the lunchtime hour (1:15 to 2:15). The 
business agenda includes election of new officers, discussion of the 
Chernivtsi conference, announcement of prizes, and executive board 
reports. If you wish to add something to the agenda, please contact 
me as soon as possible.

The ASN meeting has a very good mix of Ukrainian studies panels this 
year. The preliminary program can be downloaded from 
http://www.nationalities.org.

For those waiting for news from Chernivtsi--I am working on it. News 
from the Ukrainian side has stopped. I was warned, however, that the 
organizing work would slow or stop because of the Parliamentary 
elections. I will relay concrete news as soon as I have it.
