The Civic Education Project (CEP) is an international not-for-profit
organization affiliated with Yale University in New Haven, CT, and the
Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.  Through its Visiting
Lecturer and Eastern Scholar Programs, CEP supports higher education reform
in universities in Central/Eastern Europe and Eurasia by placing faculty in
social science departments for a year of teaching and program development.

Visiting Lecturers teach courses in English and collaborate with local
colleagues on curriculum development and outreach projects. The Eastern
Scholar Program supports scholars from the region who have studied at a
western-accredited university and wish to pursue an academic career in
their home countries.

We invite faculty and advanced graduate students to apply. CEP currently
supports programs in: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, the
Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan,
Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Poland,
Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
